The production activities of wood and bamboo craft UMKM have the potential to generate waste that can impact the environment and occupational health if not managed properly. The Bangkit Sangkar Jati UMKM, a producer of wooden and bamboo bird cages, faces the problem of accumulating production waste that has not been optimally utilized. This Community Service (PKM) program aims to increase the capacity of partners to manage production waste in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner. Implementation methods include environmental awareness outreach, waste sorting and utilization training, and mentoring in implementing clean work practices. The results of the program demonstrate an increased understanding of waste management among partners, the establishment of a simple waste sorting system, and the utilization of wood and bamboo waste into valuable derivative products. This program contributes to creating cleaner, healthier, and more environmentally sustainable craft UMKM.
