The strengthening of the coffee value chain from upstream to downstream is an important effort to improve the welfare of coffee farmers and MSMEs through innovation, digitalization, and community empowerment. This community service activity was conducted in Ngemplak District, Boyolali Regency, involving coffee farmers, MSME actors, and local communities. The initial observation results showed several problems, including low cultivation quality, limited post-harvest processing technology, weak product branding, and limited utilization of digital marketing. Therefore, the implementation of this community service focused on training, mentoring, and empowering the community in coffee cultivation, post-harvest management, product innovation, branding, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship management.
The methods used in this activity consisted of four stages: preliminary stage, implementation stage, closing stage, and evaluation stage. The results showed an increase in community knowledge and skills regarding coffee management from upstream to downstream. Participants also demonstrated high enthusiasm for implementing digital marketing and sustainable business management.
