Abstract

Low financial awareness among the younger generation is an issue requiring serious attention, particularly given the rise of consumerist lifestyles. One strategic approach is to instill a culture of saving starting from their school years. This community service initiative aims to enhance students' financial understanding and awareness through education and the practice of simple, sustainable saving habits. The implementation methods included basic financial literacy sessions, interactive discussions, and guidance on saving practices. The results indicate an improvement in students' understanding of the importance of financial management and the development of a positive attitude toward saving. This initiative is expected to serve as a first step in shaping a younger generation that is financially wiser and better equipped to plan for the future.
